Hi, we're the family behind JustGoodCampers. We moved from Europe to New Zealand a few years ago, fell in love with the country, and never looked back.

JustGoodCampers is a small, family-owned camper hire business based in Auckland. We rent out two fully equipped campervans for self-drive trips across New Zealand — a compact 2-berth for couples, and a larger 4-berth for families or small groups. Both are packed and ready when you collect them.
Every rental comes stocked with bedding, cooking gear, camp chairs, a cleaning kit, luggage storage, and an airport transfer — all included in the price. No add-on packages, no surprise charges when you show up. The price on the website is the price you pay.
Both campervans carry a current NZ Certificate of Self-Containment, which means you can freedom camp at designated spots around the country — not just holiday parks. That opens up a lot of New Zealand. Tongariro, the Catlins, the Otago Peninsula, Abel Tasman. You're not tied to a grid.
We do pickups from Auckland. Being a small team means we can actually talk to you — not send you to a call centre or a FAQ page. If you've got questions about where to go, what the roads are like, or whether the South Island is doable in two weeks, just send us a message.
